Measured load vs. modelled water benefits
The World Resources Institute’s Volumetric Water Benefit Accounting (VWBA) framework — and its’ companion Water Quality Benefit Accounting (WQBA) guidance for nutrient outcomes — is the leading voluntary standard for quantifying corporate water stewardship claims.
It ranks directly measured data as its highest-confidence tier, above modelled or estimated indicators. Eco Detection’s methodology is built to sit at that top tier by design, replacing periodic grab-sampling and emission-factor modelling with continuous, sensor-measured concentration and flow.
