Strategic Partnership with Global Engineering Company, GHD

Eco Detection is pleased to announce that a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Eco Detection and global professional services firm, GHD has been executed with the intent of commencing a long-term strategic collaboration in relation to real-time water quality monitoring.

The MoU outlines areas of strategic collaboration including; key account support for sales and business development, technical support, the provision of a data analytics platform to provide value-add for Eco Detection customers, or elsewhere by GHD, shared sales pipeline and list of customers, input from GHD technical experts for future product development and potential to extend the ANZ relationship to product launch in US, Canada and UK where GHD has a significant footprint.

Executive Director, Jefferson Harcourt said, “I’m delighted to execute the strategic agreement between GHD and Eco Detection. GHD is a global leader in its field and has recognised the importance of our technology. Its technical access expertise and market knowledge will help accelerate our growth locally and abroad.”

GHD’s Executive GM, Strategic Investments, Phil Bradley said,

“The need to clean up the waterways of the world is an urgent challenge but “if we can’t measure it, we can’t fix it”. In much of the world testing for nutrients and other harmful substances is manual and inefficient which produces suboptimal outcomes.

Eco Detection has tackled the environmental measurement challenge head on with an innovative solution with their self powered continuous monitoring “lab in the field”.

GHD are delighted to announce a strategic relationship with Eco Detection. Together we hope to expand the application of continuous monitoring of nutrients and other substances of concern. GHD has already assisted installations of the Eco Detection devices for clients in New Zealand and will shortly assist with installations in Victoria and Tasmania and beyond.  GHD will provide strategic input to Eco Detection to assist with prioritisation of future developments and work together on advanced analytics solutions.

We commend what has been achieved by Eco Detection, its founder Grey Innovation Group Pty Ltd and their technology partner University of Tasmania.  GHD are delighted to work closely with Wani WallJefferson HarcourtPhillip Fox and the rest of the Eco Detection team to help change the way water management is monitored and managed.”
