Eco Detection is pleased to announce that Daniel Lambert AM has joined Eco Detection as lead Strategic Advisor.

Daniel is a dynamic leader with a passion for innovation, partnerships and developing sustainable water solutions, and is highly regarded in the water industry having recently been recognised on the King’s Birthday Honours List as a Member of the Order of Australia by the Governer-General.

Daniel’s executive experience in the water sector has included as Managing Director of Legacie, CEO of WaterStart Australia, Australasia Water Business Leader at Arup and Executive Manager – Sustainable Infrastructure Solutions at Unitywater and Special Advisor to the CEO at Suez.

Recognised as an industry thought leader, Daniel’s contribution to innovation, sustainability and the water sector has been profound. He has worked in over 25 countries and delivered leading first-of-a-kind solutions for recycled water, water resilience and desalination projects. Some of Daniel’s work is featured in Create Magazine: Daniel Lambert on the power of engineering for good.

Daniel was the Australian Water Association Water Professional of the Year in 2018 and the Engineers Australia 2021 Sir John Holland Civil Engineer of the Year and 2022 Professional Environmental Engineer of the Year for Australia. Daniel has also been recognised by Engineers Australia as one of ‘Australia’s Most Innovative Engineers’.
