The Derwent Estuary Program (DEP), which leveraged Eco Detection’s advanced real-time water analysis platform, was made possible through the support of The Ian Potter Foundation, TasWater, the Environment Protection Authority (EPA) Tasmania, Eco Detection, Hydro Tasmania, and Meadowbank Vineyard.
This three-year program underscored the critical role of real-time water quality monitoring and revealed previously unrecorded data, including Phosphate and TAN across the River Derwent Catchment.
As part of this groundbreaking trial, six Eco Detection systems were deployed, delivering high-frequency sampling throughout the study, with data available instantly via our cloud-based platform.
